In the Foundation Stage, the children get to grips with speaking and listening, singing and dancing, stories and counting. They'll be gaining all the basic skills that will get them off to a flying start when they reach Year 1.

The children in the Foundation Stage go on a school trip during the Summer Term.

Children in Reception are expected to read with their parents/carers at home, and look for objects beginning with the sound of the week.
