Recent Newsletters 09 Oct 2009 25 Sept 2009	Caldecott is an attractive community primary school for children aged 3 to 11 located in south Abingdon.
	The whole school has been modernised to a very high standard. Accommodation for the youngest children is brand new and very attractively laid out with light, spacious areas between classrooms. The existing building for the older children has been refurbished to provide a well-designed computer room, a dedicated music room, a beautiful airy library, a food technology room and access to computer technology in all rooms. All classrooms for children aged from 5 to 11 have interactive whiteboards enabling teachers to use the very latest technology.
	The main grounds include play areas, an adventure trail, an environmental area including a pond, quiet areas, areas for playing with construction toys and sand, netball, football and rounders pitches and athletics tracks. All the youngest children in the Foundation Stage (age 3-5) have access to a brand new specially designed garden with covered areas and safety surfaces. Primary League Tables. Caldecott Primary School are pleased to report that the league tables published on 2nd April 2009 show that Year 6 children who took their SATs last year made fantastic progress between KS1 and KS2. Our value added score of 100.8% puts us in the top 25% nationally. Images of Children.
