(Years 1 and 2) for children aged 5-7 years old.












The Key Stage 1 teaching staff are: Katy Walsh (KS1 and Foundation Stage Coordinator), Susie Kerr, Kate Long, Sue Bailey and Kerry McGrath.
There is tremendous progress made by children between the ages of five and seven. The work involves investigations and problem solving following the National Curriculum.

The topics undertaken in KS1 are:
The Great Fire of London Bonfire night
Famous people from the past Minibeasts
The seaside  

 

Key Stage 1 children go on a school trip during the Summer Term.

There are a range of extra-curricular activities available with Art, Choir and Judo Clubs for year 1 children and Country Dancing and Maths Clubs for year 2 children.
