Wow! What a great last day for all of us. We all visited the WW1 trench and learnt about the conditions soldiers experienced in The Great War. Caldy And Amroth went body boarding and sea kayaking. We were so impressed with the children and it was a pleasure to see them laughing and joking in the waves. Joseph, with a big smile on his face, said that this was his favourite activity of the week. Laugharne and Ginst spent the afternoon abseiling and zip-wiring - we are so impressed with those who overcame their fear of heights.
Disco night was a chance for the children to show off their moves (and sparkly outfits). We have some fab dancers in Y6 and many won sweets for their creative choreography. Special mentions go to George H, Freya, Jenna, Holly and Catherine who all lit up the dance floor.
Stars for today: Deanna, Beth, Abbie M and Grace. Bonus points for Morgan, Hannah P, Tyler, Charlie, George M and Hannah B.
Some quotes from the children:
Liam: "I loved mountain biking because you build up a lot of speed."
Hayden: "I liked the sea kayaking even though I capsized twice!"
Luke: "I enjoyed everything about the rocky shore study and I loved the disco."
