After School Club Assistant from September 2025

Overview

We are looking to appoint a fun and friendly After School Club Assistant to join our team from September 2025.  

This role includes assisting the After School Club Supervisor, helping with planning and providing care and creative play opportunities for our children.   

As well as being fun and friendly we are looking for someone who remains calm under pressure, has patience and a good sense of humour.

You will be expected to adhere to school policies and procedures effectively, liaising with school staff and parents.

Previous experience of working with children would be an advantage, however we will consider those from other backgrounds, who are willing to learn.

 This is a term time only role, the hours of work are 15:15 to 17:30 Monday to Friday.  However, we do offer flexible working and would consider less days.  Please state in your application the days you are able to work.

This is a grade 4 role paid at £12.65 per hour. We can also offer subsidised places for staff children in after school club on the days you are working
