Key Features of Caldecott Childcare 

• All clubs are supervised by a leader, trained to NVQ3 or equivalent.  

• Staff are qualified, trained and experienced in working with this age group.  

• Recommended staff/child ratios are always observed.

• All staff are bound by the Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures of the Oxfordshire County Council. To ensure the children’s safety:   

• All staff are DBS checked.  

• There is always a trained first aider available.  

• The premises are safe and secure.  

• Equipment and furniture are well maintained and conform to safety standards.  

Breakfast Club 

Our breakfast club runs from 7.45am until the start of the school day.  

The Breakfast Club is run by an experienced supervisor and assistants. Breakfast is provided and consists of a choice of: Toast with butter, jam, honey, marmalade, or marmite Cereal (various to choose from) Fruit juice or milk. 

The current fee is £4.50 per child per session. 

From Monday 17th April 2023 the price will increase to £4.75 per session

After School Club 

The After School Club is open for children aged 3 – 11 years and runs until 5.30pm. The children will be looked after by friendly, trained, experienced and enthusiastic staff in a safe, secure, and happy environment. They will be offered a healthy nutritious snack during the session. 

The current fee is £9.50 per child per session. 

From Monday 17th April 2023 the price will increase to £10.25 per session

Places for both clubs are allocated on a first come first serve basis. If the clubs are oversubscribed, children’s names will be added to the waiting list. To register for a place please complete the form on page 5 of the Childcare booklet. A link to the booklet is provided on this page. 

 We will endeavour to accommodate your request and will confirm an offer in writing. 

All Clubs meet The Early Years Foundation Stage Requirements. The school registration number is 123087.
