Reading for Pleasure at Caldecott.

At Caldecott, we love reading! We have a fantastic group of Reading Ambassadors (from Year 1- Year 6) who drive reading and many, many more children who are avid bookworms. Watch out for news of what the Reading Ambassadors have been up to!

We have a Padlet where we share reading recommendations for the whole school community! Children and staff are invited to share their favourite book recommendations here. It is accessible via this link: https://padlet.com/MissMaund1/rg3nmn3mowejiw05. 

We also have a Reading Newsletter called Bookworms which goes out half-termly. The latest copy can be found here. 

In the academic year 2022-23, Caldecott are proud to be hosting a Teachers' Reading Group for local schools, libraries and bookshops. It is a free Open University and The UKLA sponsored course and promotes excellent networking between schools. Please find details on the flyer.
