Admissions to Nursery

The Nursery provides places for children to attend either 15 hours or 30 hours of funded sessions, depending on eligibility, in our Swans or Cygnets rooms. Children can start Nursery in the term after they are three. In our Cygnets room, we also have spaces for 2 year olds who are eligible for 15 hours free early education funding or through self funded places.  Please see details below.

Parents/carers may fill in a form expressing an interest in a Nursery place, please see link below or contact the school office for the form.    Parents of children on the waiting list are contacted by the Headteacher to arrange admission in the term before they are admitted to Nursery.

You are welcome to visit at any time, please contact the school office to make an appointment.

Nursery places are offered in both settings as 30 hours full time, Monday – Friday (Swans - 8.35am - 3.05pm, Cygnets - 8.45am-3.15pm).  Please note there is a £3 charge for the ½ hour lunch period as this is additional to the 30 hours. 15 hours sessions are offered for either 5 mornings or 5 afternoons per week.

Please note that the school directly allocates the spaces in Nursery, but all Oxfordshire County Council maintained nurseries must follow the relevant admissions policy, and you can find a copy of the latest policy on admissions to Nursery below.
